Kristin Arthur


Background and Experience

Kristin Arthur focuses her practice on appeals and complex commercial litigation. She has represented clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation, including discovery, motions practice, settlement negotiations, jury and bench trials, and appeals.

In her appellate role, Kristin partners with trial counsel to develop litigation strategy, to assist with preservation at trial, and to handle post-trial and dispositive motions. Separately, Kristin also has experience with interlocutory appeals and original jurisdiction cases.

Kristin is committed to pro bono work, and she was named a Denver Bar Association Pro Bono Star in 2023. She also serves on the screening committee for the Colorado Bar Association’s Civil Appeals Full Representation Program, which provides pro bono representation to appellants and appellees.

Kristin currently serves as the Treasurer of the Young Professionals Committee of the Colorado Judicial Institute. Kristin is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Faculty of Federal Advocates. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuits.

Prior to joining GPMBF, Kristin served first as a law clerk and judicial assistant for Justice Brian D. Boatright of the Colorado Supreme Court, and then as a law clerk for the Honorable David M. Ebel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
