Background and ExperienceHobbies and Interests

Sara Bodner litigates a wide range of disputes.  She is known for her practical yet creative approach to matters, as well as her ability to form strong relationships with clients and work effectively with opposing counsel.  She has experience with each stage in litigation, from pretrial investigation through trial.

Before joining GPMBF, Sara was a lawyer at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP in Denver, where she represented clients in commercial, real estate, employment, white collar, and criminal defense matters.  Prior to joining Brownstein, Sara was a lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York.  At Cravath, Sara represented clients in a range of complex litigation and investigations, including mass torts, antitrust actions, and internal investigations.

While in law school, Sara was the articles editor for the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy, a fellow with the NYU Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement, and a research assistant for multiple professors.  She also served as a legal intern in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the City University of New York’s Office of General Counsel. Before obtaining her law degree, Sara worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, first as a paralegal in the Securities and Commodities Fraud unit and later as special assistant to former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara.
